Pennants 2011

Hi All, Below are the tee times for our first annual pennant series, we have tried to accommodate as many players as possible in all the events and as such have increased the teams to 16 players per side.
General rules and information

  • Players must arrive at least 45 mins prior to tee time
  • All matches will be played in Match play format on handicap *except captain’s and those times marked with an "x" who will play off scratch
  • Food will be provided for all players on the conclusion of the last match
  • Players are encouraged to support their team mates on completion of their round
  • There will be a Captain’s Pick awarded to the best player from each club. (This will be measured on a player’s golf, sportsmanship and overall team support.)
  • Pennant Presentations will be held directly after the last event (All players are encouraged to attend)
  • Motorised carts are allowed to be used if a player chooses.
  • Thanks to all who have put their hand up

MINERS GOLF WINS THE INAUGURAL PENNANT!!!!!!!!!!!! It came down to the wire and the boys stood tough. What a great series. Congrats to Rayzr Cotterill for being the captains pick as man of the series. The pennant will hang comfortably in his living room for the next 365 days. My speach was hasty as usual:) in doing so I forgot to mention that all 2011 pennant players from the winning side will have a logo on the left sleeve of they're 2012 miners golf shirt stating that we are the champs! :) Cheers to all.
